1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using looksgoodtome.ai ("lgtm", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
lgtm is an AI-powered pull request validation tool that integrates with GitHub. The Service analyzes code diffs, runs browser-based validation, and generates merge confidence reports.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service.
- One person or organization may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit malicious code or interfere with other users.
- Exceed rate limits or abuse the API in a manner that degrades service for others.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.
5. GitHub Integration
- The Service requires installation of a GitHub App on your repositories.
- You authorize lgtm to read pull request data, diffs, and repository metadata as permitted by the GitHub App permissions.
- lgtm does not store your source code. Diffs are processed in memory only.
- You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App.
6. Plans and Billing
- Free tier: Subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page. No credit card required.
- Paid plans: Billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in USD.
- Overage: Some plans allow overage runs billed at the per-run rate shown on your plan.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
7. Intellectual Property
- Your code: You retain all rights to your source code and repositories. lgtm claims no ownership.
- Reports: Validation reports generated by lgtm are provided for your use. You may share them freely.
- Service: The lgtm Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by looksgoodtome.ai and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Service Availability
- We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with 30 days notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- lgtm is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
- lgtm's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- lgtm does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated validation reports. Reports are advisory and should not replace human code review.
11. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms.
- You may delete your account at any time via the dashboard or by contacting support.
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
